This will take place on your first visit at the selected clinic, so that a diagnosis can be confirmed to better understand the state and stage of your injury. If you have a doctor’s referral or insurance, they will go through the paperwork. They will check your medical history, find out about your level of physical activity and any relevant lifestyle factors. They will ask you to explain your personal goals and let them know about any barriers that could hinder your recovery.

Professional Diagnosis
A diagnose of the source of your injury is established to determine whether it has caused any knock-on effects within your body. Your physical therapist will also help you understand your condition.
Unique Treatment Plan
Our Affiliate Clinics and physiotherapists understand that no two patients are exactly alike, which is why your unique history, condition and goals will be reflected in the personalized treatment plan they put together for you. To carry out your treatment, the Registered Physiotherapists may be helped by Kinesiologists and Physical Therapist Assistants. They might also call on the specialized services of other healthcare professionals, such as a Registered Massage Therapist, an Acupuncturist or Sports Doctor, for example.
As part of your treatment plan, they may prescribe home exercises to help you heal faster, strengthen your system and achieve your goals.
